(October 2nd, 2020 - Nashville, TN) Solidifying his honest pop sound, Clinton John drops his newest single, “Fresh” - a nostalgic and uplifting take on the rush of new romance. The track hit all streaming platforms October 2nd 2020, and is the fourth in a series of singles to drop this year.
Under the influence of dance-pop mega-stars Troye Sivan, Conan Gray, and Carly Rae Jepson, “Fresh” is driving and infectious, making it a year long summer anthem. Rich tonal synth lines weave in and out, supporting a catchy and intimate lead vocal, while specific, yet universal lyrics help create an image-rich world that makes your heart ache for love you haven’t even found yet. Produced by Nashville based powerhouse producer Robyn Dell’Unto and cowritter Kat Saul, “Fresh” came to life as a part of the BMG Underground Pop songwriters camp led by Noreen Pruiner.

Clinton John speaks out about his inspiration:
"After my first break-up it was hard for me to imagine having feelings for someone else again. I found myself comparing any new love interest to my previous experience and how everything after that just fell short. The next time I was interested in someone, it took me by surprise and definitely caught me off guard. It was almost like a light bulb went off in my head, letting me know I was capable of developing feelings again. That realization happened almost instantly, they were exciting and felt so fresh”.
Fresh is Clinton John’s last single to be released in 2020, building anticipation for his visual EP scheduled for release in early 2021.
