Kisos releases the follow up to crying in the club anthem, Happily Ever After. New single, He Didn't Want Me is a blunt, piercingly emotional song about accepting powerlessness in the wake of a breakup. The song was fully produced by Kisos and Jo Lee, and is the second single from his sweet nothings EP (out early 2020). The project will take listeners through the five stages of grief: bargaining, denial, anger, depression, and acceptance.
About the track Kisos says, "'He Didn’t Want Me' is me realizing I couldn't blame myself anymore for the breakup. No matter how I tried to save us, the love was doomed if he didn’t want us to be saved. Acceptance was the saddest stage of grief for me, admitting that my ideal would never exist. Despite writing this song a couple years ago, I cried during the recording process; dormant memories flashing back all at once."
Earlier this year Kisos released "Happily Ever After" (the denial stage of grief), which garnered attention from Atwood Magazine, Billboard Pride, and Spotify including their Cosmic and Discover Weekly playlists. Aside from releasing music, he's also one of the top 2% most popular live-streamers on Twitch, where he does gaming and live music performances every week and has raised over $1500 for social justice causes in 2019.
