by Matt DeMerchant for Q Review “Waiting For Love” is a mix between 2012’s bubblegum pop and the latest trend of rock anthems. If someone told me Carly Rae Jepsen sang this, I would believe them. This song has the potential to be a “Call Me Maybe” sized hit if radio picked it up. The song is relatable to anyone in the queer world who has struggled to find someone to love and has an infectious chorus that even the biggest pop hater couldn’t deny. Quick tip: don’t listen to this too many times or you will never get it out of your head! The music video is an explosion of rainbows and unicorns with lots of bright colours. No doubt this is a look inside of a queer persons brain; the colours, the fun, and the two guys getting married. Openside had a lot of fun filming this music video. Give it a watch, you will have no choice but to have a big smile on your face!
