IAMREBELWILL
While searching through the internet and social media posts for new artists and music I was lucky to happen across a new Canadian artist that goes by the name IAMREBELWILL. 2018 began what can only be stated as the beginning of the epic journey and career this artist is now embarking on. The R&B slow jam dance floor track ‘Better’ became the first official single for RebelWill. It’s a perfect vehicle to introduce listeners to the strength and control of his vocals and is that song you want playing on your best Saturday night while driving through the city streets with the top down. The Lumidee callback sample paired against RebelWill’s smooth delivery is a combination of production champions. Equally strong is RebelWill’s latest single ‘Til the Sun Comes Down’, a deeper sultry and sensual track. Where ‘Better’ took you to the streets, ‘Til the Sun Comes Down’ takes you to the sheets with passion fueled lyrics and steamy rhythms. Both songs introduce you to different yet complimentary aspects of this exciting new artist who is going to quickly find a home on all Canadian airwaves and beyond. If this is the rebellion, sign me up! |

Austin Strange
I’m fortunate to come across so many talented artists every day that should be heard by a larger audience. Recently I came across Austin Strange, an Alternative Pop artist from Toronto, Ontario. Austin has a number of releases out, his most recent being his 4 singles released in 2018, ‘Breathe’ being one of them. However his break through really came from 2015’s ‘Drunk’ which I very much recommend you hear and watch (the video is available on YouTube). Austin is preparing to release new music in 2019, so now is the perfect jumping on point to get caught up on all things Austin Strange and prepare for everything new that is yet to come! Felix Sandman
Felix Sandman and his new single “Miss You Like Crazy” is the #QDiscovery of the week. The Swedish singer and former boy bander (FO&O) is also set to make his Netflix debut this April in the first ever Swedish Netflix original series ‘Quicksand’. ‘Miss You Like Crazy’ is pure pop goodness with enough heartbreak melodrama to fit in with the current pop crop, enough moxie to stand out on its own and enough early 90’s juice to make it slightly nostalgic! Plus Felix seems to be one of the most likeable personalities ever. AND the MYLC video sports some very cool imagery of Felix in glowing black light Joker-esque fluorescent make-up. Everything about this release is bang on! Hear it. Watch it. Share it. Repeat. #RecommendedListening #onrepeat |
