T. THOMASON TO RELEASE SELF-TITLED DEBUT LP SEPTEMBER 25
The beginning of 2019 saw nothing but triumph for Halifax, NS pop artist T. Thomason. Sky-rocketing up the radio and streaming charts with his hit single “HOPE” from his winning appearance on CTV’s music-reality TV show The Launch, followed by summer tour dates across the UK and eastern Canada with his sizzling track “Pleasure”, Thomason is closing out the year on his highest note yet. Four years in the making, Thomason announces the release of his debut LP T. Thomason, available everywhere September 25.
As the first album released under his new name, T. Thomason will take listeners on an emotional journey of the transformation Thomason has made as a musician and as an individual. From the emotional empowerment of the opening track "Birdsong" through to the joyfully dreamy conclusion of "Bliss", Thomason demonstrates his strengths as both a songwriter and vocalist from beginning to end.

From the emotional empowerment of the opening track "Birdsong" through to the joyfully dreamy conclusion of "Bliss", Thomason demonstrates his strengths as both a songwriter and vocalist from beginning to end.
After three albums released between the ages of 14-19, T. took a year away from music to begin testosterone hormone therapy and relearn his singing voice, changing his name and pronouns along the way. During this time, he worked consistently with producer Dave Henriques (Justin Nozuka/Iskwé) in Toronto. T. Thomason is T. and Dave's second collaborative journey after the 2016 EP sweet baby. The new album’s first two singles “Bliss” and “Loser”, shimmering with that fresh pop sound Thomason has become known for, have together earned over 200k Spotify streams.
"T. Thomason is the result of four years of collaboration between myself and producer Dave Henriques. Four years of growing and learning, massive change - yet many things unchanging, unconditional,” explains Thomason. “Though our experiences are vastly different, Dave was the best collaborator and witness to all of this that I could have asked for. The record is a snapshot of the ups and downs of chasing dreams which seemed completely impossible at times, coming to self-determination and the freedom it brings, and being faced with the beautiful/ugly realities of the worlds we find ourselves part of. I am so grateful to have a document of this time. I became T. Thomason as this record was made. In huge part, thanks to this record being made. Now that I know who I am, I am excited to share that person with you. Thank you for listening."
To celebrate the release, T. Thomason will have release shows both in Toronto (Baby G on September 26) and Halifax (Bus Stop Theatre on October 3) in addition to a handful of dates in Canada and Europe this fall.
