Westlife - Dynamite
by Q Review Staff
Let’s just admit that Westlife are one of the greatest “Boyband” vocal groups ever. They deliver track after track, each one becoming the soundtrack of life to literal thousands. There’s always an anthem build in every song and now with over 20 years of music, countless performances, more than 50 million albums sold worldwide, in the top 25 of most number 1 albums ever, and 14 number 1 UK singles, they’re back again! Still sounding impeccably strong with their signature vocal harmonies.
This time Westlife arrive with the uplifting and inspiring ‘Dynamite’. There’s something even more powerful and emotive than usual with ‘Dynamite’ (if such a thing is even possible) and could be a direct relation to the fact that ‘Dynamite' was co-written by fellow Brit Ed Sheeran. Westlife have always sung of love, but 'Dynamite' really takes that feeling and expressively opens it into an almost euphoric choral experience.
The boys have always made big songs with sweeping melodies. And ‘Dynamite’ is another explosive epic in their long history of delivering all the feels. Enjoy more Westlife, it’s just good for your soul.

As stated there’s a vocal allure that has you hanging on every lyric. Andrew Muise has blended just the right amount of country/Americana life into a pop/rock song to give it true cross over appeal but without ever fearing having any labels applied. You can imagine him busking, in an acoustic circle setting, a theatre showcase or with a full stage setup, and you’d love every version.
’Young Love’ provides a nostalgic trip back to moments of first love butterflies and obsessive gut churning experiences you remember fondly. We don’t get a lot of magic in the world these days, but there’s a magic in Andrew Muise’s music and we’re believers!
